The Kim Philbys phenomenal follow-up to their 2006 album "Killing You With Numbers", the new album "Whir Whir Whir" features the manically personal and painful lyrics of Dominic East accompanied by dense arrangements and lush instrumentation from East,bassist Andrew Gerhan, and drummer and keyboardist Mie Araki. Also released is Chuck Prophet's tribute to Waylon Jennings', "Dreaming Waylon's Dreams" a track by track re-make of Waylon's 70's masterpiece "Dreaming My Dreams". It's limited to only 1000 copies, most of which were sold on Chuck's recent tour of Europe and the United States in support of his latest release on Yep Roc, "Soap and Water". The artwork was done by hand on a letterpress by Bruce Licher of Scenic and The Savage Republic fame.
